This is the first I've checked the thread in a few days, and I see this.

That thing is ******* sick, and looks brand new. That is effing amazing. **** Kiton, THIS is the type of **** I want to find. Awesome find.

This is the vintage you want... one of my better vintage finds ever. Mcdonald was a dry goods merchandiser and later workwear maker that specialized in selling clothing to railroad workers. Their factory was located in St Joseph, MO, I'm in KC, so a semi local product here. The factory closed down due to the depression in 1933. The most recent ad for this shirt with the Red Seal brand was 1924 on Google. Vintage chambray is awesome. Triple stitched seams, mint condition, crazy.

I just got this thrifted jacket back from the cleaners and they were unsuccessful at getting the stains out. It's a linen and cotton blend. They've been good in the past, but recently I received another stained item back from them that looked like the stain hadn't been touched - I was able to get most of it out with water and a rag. Think it's worth taking to another cleaner?
I feel the same way about my cleaner, feels like an accident when they actually do remove a stain. There needs to be a better criteria to pick a cleaner on than being between work and home. Even though that's a really compelling reason...

I hope that chambray shirt gets posted in the vintage thread. I'm with AndroFan: this is what it's all about.

A quick stop tonight before meeting some friends for a drink. Do you ever go in and find something, a hint, that there might be better things to come? I checked out the glasses and there were a lot of cases. Gucci and Versace. So I check the glasses.

Versace with case.

Then I found I Gianni Versace tie but it had a pull and the price tag (!) poked through the front of it. My palms were beginning to itch.

Then I found this:

And to top it off, a beautiful Canali Kei Jacket, their unstructured, unlined line. Gorgeous blue-grey linen/silk/silk with huge MOP buttons.

Awesome shirt, Mainy. I need to study up on old workwear brands. I would have passed right over that.

Definitely post that over in Spoo's vintage thread.
