Are all the HF so huge through the waist? I found like 3 or four in a 38r that fit well in the shoulders but had no/little waist suppression...

After a bit of a dry spell, I hit a purple patch today.

Zegna wool/cashmere blend SC $20 (and it fits beautifully!!)

Corneliani pure wool trousers $12 (on the left, the pictures don't do it justice, it is a stunning olive green).
Canali pure wool trousers $5 (on the right, again the pictures don't make them look anywhere nearly as good as they do in real life)
Philippe Vendome tie (pure silk, made in France, whimsical dolphin motif) $2
Zegna tie (old, slightly thrashed but should clean up nicely) $2
Pure Scottish wool tie, made in Scotland in IMMACULATE condition $2
I also got my first ever thrifted pocket square. $0.50. The lady at the thrift store didn't know what it was, she thought it was a very small ladies' scarf! Bless her!

That Zegna's an orphaned suit jacket. If you change the buttons (and it's navy, tough to tell from the photo) you could probably pass it off as a blazer.

It's navy. I wasn't sure if it was orphaned or not, either way for the price and the fit I thought it was worth a gamble. I think I will do the blazer conversion, all I have to do now is to find the right buttons.

We have a mission boys! Barney's is selling that stuff to someone, we need to find out who!!!

Barneys is putting their items on deep discount in their B&M stores. At the end of winter clearance their house brand ties were like $9 and cashmere sweaters were less than $20.

Today turned out real well.

First stop turned up zilch. Meh.

Second stop was the money pot:

-Land's End US handsown rep tie

-Rubinacci silk tie

-Land's End US made Harris Tweed sport coat (still need to take some measurements. this is for sale/trade - I don't know if I can set up anything in the B&S yet, but PM me if interested).

I'll add pics a little later.
