I'm still new to this. I didn't get the Marinella because I wasn't sure if it was real. Felt pretty flimsy. The place is right next to where I work so I'll just grab both of them.

I don't think Marinella is well-known enough to be faked

Finding stuff like this makes me sad because you know that someone either fell hard out of love or died and broke someones heart.

One of the first things I thought when I found NWOB Lobbs a couple years ago was, "Somebody died or had a very messy divorce."

What's with all the Marinellas lately?

This week Marinellas, last week or two it was Ferragamo and Hermes. What should we drive as the flavor of next week?

I grabbed the Marinella and Versace.

While I was there, I saw a black 44R Giorgio Armani wool DB overcoat (looked very dated) and a Navy Aquascutum rain coat, nice pick stitching but there was a hole in the lining right at the armpit. I hope I don't get killed again for asking but is it worth grabbing either one of these?

I'll post pics tonight or tomorrow morning. I've got to head to a viewing now.

PM. Effing. Sent. HFS, I already have a black velvet SC and I STILL want that.

3 stores today at lunch. Nice recent Zegna pink striped shirt (XL) and a serviceable, recent white Canali (16 neck) that needs some spot treatment for a small stain at the cuff. Also a pair of Hiltl beige cotton chinos. I already have a pair of Isaia and RLPL in almost the same color, so these are likely to be available. Don't get much attention here, but I actually quite like the quality of Hiltl trousers. I suspect, though I don't know for sure, that they are made by Incotex.

Oh, and a Banana Republic blazer that fit me well, had a killer pattern, was diiiiiirt cheap and I couldn't pass up. WHAT?!?! Don't effing judge me!

Pics later.

EDIT: Oh, and that navy pinstripe Corneliani orphan was still there. Fit like a glove, good condition and recent. ANY chance anyone has a pair of Corneliani reverse orphans in navy pinstripe?

Wow, killer piece! :slayer:

navy pinstripe?

+1 on Hiltl. There are 3-4 higher-end men's clothiers in my area that carry the line, so I find them fairly often. Great cuts and styles. You're right, they do remind me of Incotex, but I'm not sure either if they are the maker.

Good job Andro. Glad your luck is up when you need it.

EasyE, I love the transformation of that desk. Looks fab.

On unrelated news I am at a dry spell. Passed an 38R Armani Collezoni suit today. Very high quality and possibly never cleaned but unvented which was odd since it looked recent otherwise.
