@Faceofboh
+1 on the Farragamos i find their designs infinitely more interesting then the Hermes,although Hermes pays the bills better.

Agreed. I love my Ferragamo ties. The Hermes ties I've found don't hold a candle to the Ferragamos.

This morning I was pretty thrilled to find this:

Wow! As if Drakes in a thrift store store wasn't exceptional enough, it's cashmere too. :slayer:

the saddle is a Wright (the ugly stepchild of Brooks) but i like it.
the best saddle i ever found and still have is a Brooks Professional

Nice score on the Dawes! A very good steel lugged frame and the brooks seat looks like a B17.

IMO, everything looks really short, sleeve length on shirt, jacket sleeve length, jacket length in general and pants length. Like 1" on the jacket sleeve, 2" on the jacket length and an 1" on the pants length???

I dunno, Brian, the toilet lid looks long. Everything else, though, you're right.

You're obviously a slim guy and can pull off the no break / short jacket thing. Personally, I prefer the jacket to hit me a bit lower, and there to be just the slightest break in my trousers, so I don't look all Pee Wee Herman when I walk. (Lurk a while; this is a perennial debate on SF). And a good bit more waist suppression on my jacket. Then again, maybe you intend to do all of these in your alterations. Either way, the shoulders are right, and that's an important starting point.
I was intending to do all of those things

I tend to like very little break but am not down with the whole exposed ankle trousers thing. Although If it is a hot day I will cuff my jeans a couple inches

Today (randomly ran into DarkMatter7 and, apparently, he just needs to be in the store for his good fortune to rub off on you; good guy with crazy determination and a solid business plan; there's a reason he's at the top of the heap):

All my size.

Corneliani wool suit; double-vented; flat-front pants

Isaia wool suit; double-vented; surgeon's cuffs; flat-front pants
