I am open to interesting trades but not the undershirt you stole from screen legend Anthony Quinn while he was working out in the part.
Androfan and Ocooney have seen it live and can testify to exactly how baller it is. Trade for it and with in one weekend, Jeeves will be prepping the country manor for you weekend getaway with several close friends, closer bottles of scotch and cigars. In the mornings you will hunt grouse. In the afternoon whilst everyone naps, you will engage in all manner of chicanery, secret trysts and over all discreet comminglings. Dinner will be served by an open fire, with the staff bringing one succulent dish after another.
re: Interesting trades . . .

Different company, think from Switzerland. actually probably one of the better manual typewriters out there, great feel to them, very smooth and effortless...I know there is a blog somewhere with famous people and their typewriters, and quite a few will have Hermes typewriters in use...expensive in its day for the average person.

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum but have been reading (not all of) the past threads (yet). I apologize beforehand if my forum lingo is a bit off - I have never been an active member of any forum before.

I've been thrifting since October and I am glad I found this thread because it helps me know what to look for.

I'm on vacation in Pensacola for the weekend and besides being a "dry hole," for the most part, I found this:

Size says 11 B - fits me perfectly, but available because I need money for moving costs.

I wouldn't have known to pick these up if it wasn't for this thread.

Does have a scuff on the inside left, boo

Also picked up an older Burberry (re: Burberrys) trench. I was going to leave it but my fiancee went crazy when I showed it to her and told me if I wouldn't buy it, she would. It is definitely available. Size 42R

I do like the nova check, though (guilty)

I'd also like to add that I have already PM'ed barrelntrigger, who has imparted some great wisdom upon me. +1

How about a piece of tile from Erroll Flynn's bathtub? It has waterline stains on it showing the water level for one person, two people, and three people in the tub. I got it from a guy named Doughboy.

It's a very sharp looking typewriter; I love the mint-green shade. I had a small collection of Marxwriters some time ago (more like upscale toy typewriters but they did work); unloaded them before yet another cross-country move. If anyone here ever gets to Blue Moon Camera & Machine in Portland OR, be sure to check out their typewriter collection. It is to drool.

Decent finds. I've never seen Townley's before, must be a discontinued model. That looks like the older AE logo too. Very nice looking shoes though.

Thank you. I'll measure them once I get home (if anyone is interested) - I forgot my measuring tape.

Picked up a nylon and rubber blend Prada moto

Lining was heavily shredded and torn so i took a seam ripped and i removed it

has awesome RIRI Swiss zippers and Prada etched zipper pulls
fits perfectly

only issueis that the label was on the lining so i may have to re-attach it

$80 - 50% off sal = $40

This is not going to become a bag, is it?
