Are the MJs selvedge? If so, I think they retail for like $250 and are mid-range premium jeans.

^^^ I just checked and I don't think they are selvedge. Also, they are marked as being made in Macau.

Ah, well, they're probably still a very nice pair of jeans. Can't tell if they're raw or one/two wash, but they look rather nice.

So I picked this up today.

6x2 double breasted jacket, high button stance, 4 button working surgeon cuffs, VENTED!, unstructured, zero shoulder padding, vent and pockets still sewn shut, and get this, 100% linen!!!!!! Manufacturer tag has been removed, but I don't ******* care, this baby looks well made, fits like a glove and I'm going to rock the **** out of it this summer. :D This is something I've been looking for for a long time.
Also this:

BB Tuxedo, gun check, Norman Hilton, PRL USA, Corniliani, I've got to go to work, but I'll post this stuff later, oh yea and these!!!!!

I would rock the **** out of this.  I probably wear it to bed.  Good stuff!!!

It makes me wonder why someone would remove the tags. Has anybody else seen this? I usually come across a least 1 or 2 jackets when I'm out, where it looks like the owner cut the label out with a dull pocket knife. Usually on a higher-end piece too. Like, wouldn't you at least get a seam ripper and do it properly?

Sometimes it's brand new, and stores do it.

Stores do it to prevent returns/re-sale and the like.
People do if the drycleaner has written their name/identifying information on the tag.

.... not another one!!! Please say you're far, far OTP.
At least I stay OTP mostly! TBH the only thrift store in town I've hit was the SA on Marietta St. and that was in college (at Tech) for a themed party.

Ok, as promised. Pictures of the BB golden fleece jacket. As far as I can tell by using the lapel and bottom button check, it is canvassed. 41R. Navy blue with blue pattern. 3 button. Half-lined in the back. 2 button sleeves, which is something I've not seen on recent BB jackets. Maybe vintage? The chest fits true to size but the sleeves feel short for a regular by about an inch. No blemishes that I could find. Pics below. Available.

Santoni tassel loafers. Light brown. Size 9.5D. Leather is in very good condition. Soles have some wear but have life left in them. May be available if the price is right. Might give these to my dad.

My brother told me he found a pair of cordovan Allen Edmond tassel loafers at his local goodwill for $4. Not sure about condition and don't have a picture to upload, but the one he showed me made them seem like they were in decent condition. He said he wasn't sure if they were this model, but that they were most similar to these: http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline/producti_SF8287_1_40000000001_-1

I thought this was also sort of a half-assed PR move by high-end stores to ensure that people don't associate their product with underperforming goods. Otherwise, wouldn't it just be easier to magic marker through the name, as Brooks Brothers and Lands End does?

So, found a jacket made for a local men's store (the nicest store in Arkansas IMO), and im almost 100% sure its Samuelsohn making their house brand jackets. The jacket is navy staple, 120's wool with a great hand, and 42R. Any interest in a proxy $10. Or conversely, how hard is it to flip goods made for a particular store, when you know the manufacturer, but it isn't tagged as such?
