The Goldstein Museum might be interested. They are always looking for non-military mens fashion. http://goldstein.design.umn.edu Otherwise there are some St. Paul Living History Society members who might be interested in it.

For kicks and giggles I attempted to look up the owner of the tailcoat but had a hard time deciphering the name. Didn't find. But the Tailor did work on several pieces in the Minnesota Historical Society collection and was the tailor to James J. Hill, the railroad tycoon.

My wife and I went to a warm-hearted affair last nice: a friend's charity was having it's 10th anniversary celebration. The organization collects used women's business-oriented clothing and makes them available to clients of local social servies agencies who are going out to job interviews or who are getting back into the work force. Over the past year they've helped over 700 women; each woman gets 7 outfits as well as shoes and some accessories. It was very nice to see a truly charitable slant to what we do here.

It was for prom, but not a tux...he just put together a bizarre amalgam of MC, SW&D and Assistant Manager at Staples pieces and it was pointed out to him. He was not pleased.

Picked this up to pass along to a regular @ cost ($5) + shipping

Approx 40/41 Long
Chest - 21.5"
Shoulder - 19.75"
Arm - 24.5"

Fully Bespoke. Tons of Handwork
Working Buttons - Hand sewn button holes, etc
Fair bit of waist suppression
Nice texture to the material for a sport coat.

it was a pinstriped zegna suit with patent lanvin sneakers, I think. I can't remember the shirt/tie.

 Then post some...

Unless you want me to carry on about original Timbuk2 Messenger bags, Golf Sandals and Patagonia fleece... I found all of those today, but didn't think anyone would want to hear about it.

I know they are tacky, but i really want some golf sandals! Anyone have experience wearing them while golfing?

I found a similar jacket w/ tails like that dated 1908 in the Halloween section of a thrift store about 6 years ago. Still have it. Everyone says it's haunted. I'll have to take a few photos.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw this new one. In particular, I remember the incredible detail in a button hole (maybe it was on the lapel?) Regardless, the hand work was amazing!
