Some crazy finds in this last couple days, Congrats to Handserhund on his "Dior" Yeah that's the right label..." Find! Datsunfan for finding his first RLPL 100% CASHMERE Sportcoat
icon_gu_b_slayer%5B1%5D.gif
! That must have been a rush!
ALSO, Shout out to my good friend and now consignee JPMORRIS who sent me 4 UHAUL boxes of many assortment of items, Oxxford and Bill's khakis a plenty ! I have been checking this thread every day via mobile but posting on my device is so hard since half the screen is cracked.

Thanks!

Another one to add to the list of seemingly endless obscure higher-end Euro labels. Was sold on Yoox years ago when they still sold almost exclusively very obscure Euro labels. That shirt likely retailed about $250-$275-ish. I had a killer beige linen sportcoat by them several years ago. Had actual bone buttons! Quality was amazing. Bought it off ParisVegas on eBay. Really regret selling that one but I never wore it in the 3 years I had it. Speaking of which, anyone know what happened to ParisVegas? He used to get really nice stuff and start it all at $3 or something like that. A lot of stuff went under the radar. I'd pick up Margiela for peanuts about once a month. Now it seems he does strictly BIN.
.

Yeah, he has done almost all BIN for the past year +. I had things proxied here quite awhile ago and won't go back to him. Descriptions of the condition were way off the mark. He deals in volume, so he takes 2-3 terrible photos and packs the item. All questions are ignored, so it's a total gamble when you buy something. His descriptions are meaningless. He could have some great deals, I'm honestly not sure.

These bowties are crazy! Carrot & Gibbs (4) bowties:
I scored 12 bow ties a couple weeks ago. Mostly Robert Talbott and Carrot & Gibbs. I've got them listed on AAAC. I also scored C &G tie back in the fall. Their quality is top notch.

Aaah. Shame. That's just how the deals were scored. It was a big gamble. He packed everything ahead of time so he never did answer questions. I remember getting Margiela for peanuts because he marked the designer as 1-20.

:rotflmao:

Most of his stuff is cheap enough that I suppose it's worth the gamble. If I remember correctly, he'll accept 50% or less on most OBOs, though I'm not sure if he still offers it. I also think he has a name on SF but only posted a couple of times. I think the theories are that he either bought up clothes destined for recycling or ran his own "donation" bins. Either way, most of his stuff is wrinkled beyond belief. Having said all of that negative stuff, I'm tempted to go check out what he has on offer...

Nice!  I have been looking for something like this too.  I have a stand for my razor and brush, but no container for my soap.

My pleasure! Though I have yet to try it, the soap does smell great. I'll report back once I've given it a go. The double sided brush, though, is really wonderful for the price.

Good to know! I planned on keeping it as soon as I picked it up. So nice to hear someone vouch for the quality. After further examining the tag, it is 100% cotton. No idea how they got it so lightweight.

Dibs 42R

Edit: Picked up a few Carroll & Co ties (available), plus a freaking pristine handmade Sciunnach (hadn't heard of it, but quality was unmistakable) wool tie in a cool gunmetal blue (unavailable).
But the finds of the day were a pair of beige flat front trou and unbelievable windowpane plaid SC, both Isaia, at a high-end consignment shot on THE DAY they went half price. Still dropped coin, but just wait till you see the pics on these. Hope to shoot shots tomorrow.

I don't have a bee anywhere, but personally, if it can't be double vented, I actually prefer no vent.

Amen. Unvented is underrated.

SIngle vent, to me, means "look at ******." I think this is a British conceit I picked up from FLusser or Roetzel books....

In other news I am cryin' because I've seen "good Dior" and passed b/c I didn't pay close enough attention to label pics here.

Agreed. For me: 2vented >> unvented >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> single vented
