I know nothing about men's suspenders, but the completed listings seem positive for Limited Edition Trafalgar.

And selling Zegna shirts seems hit and miss too, but I couldnt leave them behind.

I think this was the find of the day, though. One of the craziest RL things I've seen. A Navajo print wool poncho. Made in Great Britain.

So is RL Country recent? I pass it up now and then just because I figured it was lower priced like the Lauren label...worth picking up to flip?

^^ Nope, vintage - early to mid 90's IIRC. Though it seams they just started a vintage repro line but even that stuff would be grail finds at those retail prices.

Nat,
Was just reading a review of the frost river. Love that waxed cotton ruggedness. Cheers for that!
Lovin the flight bag.

Alright fellas...here are the results for my 2-day shopping spree. Oh yeah, just a heads up...for bragging only....

Was about to leave empty-handed at one of my stops when I noticed one of the workers putting new **** on the "New Arrivals" rack. Found this Theory - Puffer Vest with zippers galore.

Not crazy about the pattern, but whatever. Its Oxxford Clothes....

2 Brioni, Pleated Front, Cuffed Leg Trousers. One of them is Flannel.
Only thing wrong with them is that the Pocket Bags are all yellow and ****. Will "The Treatment" work for something like this?

I might dry to dab that Dry Cleaner writing off the label. Just found a snag while getting it ready for pics. Ugh.

Thomas Pink, French Cuff Dress Shirt in Purple, Made in UK.
Funny story about this very shirt, I tried to get a discount because I had found another one in pink (the color). Exact size, French cuffs, but the pink one was cheaper. The F***ers wouldnt budge and in fact try to charge me more saying that "ohm theyre supposed to be $13.99". I told them to go suck a cheetah's dick and I left the shirt. Anyway, here I am like a month later and I got it for $1.99 instead of the $7.99 or whatever I wouldve paid them before....

Borrelli. Needs button replacement and Collar treatment.

Luciano Barbera, Sport Shirt. I actually bought this one so I could steal the buttons and pop them on the Borrelli above but im having second thoughts now.

I guess this one's the winner. Finamore Black Label.

One more Borrelli for the road....

As far as what I left behind...

Oxxford Clothes for Neiman Marcus 2-Button Super 150s Orphan in Tone on Tone Glen Plaid.
Could find the pants and the lining inside was seperating at the seam by the vent.

Turnbull & Asser Bespoke End on End Dress Shirt.
The collar edges were frayed to ****...almost bought it just for the buttons but I wasnt prepared to spend almost $8 for that.

Borrelli End on End Dress Shirt in Blue.
Originally I was gonna buy this for the buttons, then when I was inspecting all my finds before checking out, I guess someone had already taken every single button off the shirt haha.

...and bunch of other **** that im too tired to list now.

I wanna ask....
When it comes to Orphans, do you leave them behind 100% of the time?
I could leave behind a BB orphan or something along those lines that is common, but if you were to come across a Kiton orphan, do you still leave it?
I wanna hear what you guys think.

Great to see you're still in the game! Nice finds!!
Huh. I have a good friend who lived in San Francisco for a long time and have never heard those.

Lol let me rephrase, those expressions were used pretty often in Nor-Cal high schools during the 90's and early 2000's.

quoting my firsts posts for posterity god damn I was a little prick... a couple months ago...

now for your responses I think I liked spoos the best "that looks nothing like anything anyone wore to pitti..."

Thread moved ridiculously fast.
More Loro Piana in the last few days -- between shirts and a few other items -- than I remember in any single stretch
DM7 revealed he's been robbing the houses of celebrities, but since he's so smart, he's not going after the A listers, he's hitting like Steve Harvey and ****.
Several thrift fits posted. Newsflash: We're all still not you.
Spoo took a stupid number of pictures.

You forgot to add he quit school to become a criminal mastermind starting off with petty theft!

Generally, I will pick up orphans if they could be passed off as SCs. I pass on most of the pinstripes unless it's BBGF above. I do have a Brioni striped silk SC clearly it was meant to be worn with white/off white chinos.

I've seen some talk about Neiman Marcus Last Call in here before. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up (if it wasn't already posted) that today is the second and last day of their Thanksgiving sale, everything is 40% off. If I did not have obligations today it would be bye bye bank account.

I'm in ATL, and I've never seen Sid in thrifts. It's killing me inside.

This is my second thrifted Mashburn shirt.

Here's what you do: 1. Wait until the end of the season. 2. Go to ctshirts.com 3. But a shirt that you like, in your size on clearance. Should be around $25 4. Receive shirt. 5. Pull out brass collar stays. 6. Guard them with your life and use them in all shirts. EDIT: Benefit of my method vs ASW is, with mine, you end up with a shirt, too! Here's how I store mine: I have about 4 or 5 other pairs that don't fit in here, but are being held in reserve for when these bend/fail/get accidentally sent to the cleaners.
Do you buy shirts just for the stays? Anyone looking for them, I picked up a bunch of them at Neiman Marcus in a variety of sizes for around $10. They are in the section next to ties. Anyone want a pair of recent Incotex for Zegnas? They're wool, tan and tagged a size 36 and the measurements are: 18.7in waist with a 32.26in inseam. According to the listing, there are a couple of "signs of wear," but when I look at the picture that they point it out, I can't really tell. It might be a pull or light stain, it isn't very noticeable. They're listed at €20 and it would be €15 to ship them to me and another €10-15 in shipping to proxy them to you. It would come out to around €40-45. They look great and I'd buy them if they were my size. PM me if you want me to proxy for you! Edited to add: Sorry, should have said that it's not my auction, just something I found. http://www.ebay.at/itm/160778418185...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_2126wt_1144

most dry cleaners sell an assortment of plastic ones (8-10 pairs in many sizes/point angles) for $1-2 per pkg. I should get some metal ones.

Nordstrom has these 18 for $25. Does anyone have any experience with these (do they suck/bend like tinfoil?)

Not just for the stays, no. But they are an added bonus when I decide to make the investment to buy retail.

Trou look nice, but I think that's beyond my price tolerance. Will pm anyway.
