Every so often, I like to remind myself of the dress watch I would buy if I would buy myself a watch. This once came in white gold, which is how I was shown it. It may still, but this is the only version on the website.

In white gold, it is the most perfect, most beautiful dress watch. If I have ever done anyone here a favor that you feel like returning, you may buy this for me.

I think the JLC Master Ultra Thin would get my vote.

I was shown the VC when I went to buy the JLC ultra thin. I preferred the VC, though I bought neither. The JLC is great, but the VC seems to be a perfect and pure design. Totally subjective, of course.
That was about six or seven years ago and I have never bought a watch since.

No. I like it a lot, but I am not a big watch guy.

I prefer the Grande Date--but only because it's cheaper and I hate moonphase and day/night indicators.

You have a lot of hang-ups for a young dude.

I usually hate those indicators as well, but the design of the watch is so perfect.

Lange 1 is mine. I just can't quite get past the hand-wound mechanism.

Unfortunately, the platinum version will also take $110k out of your pocket. But the good news is that the gold one sells for a measly $80k.

I'm a watch geek. And my hang-ups have nothing to do with experience.
