FS AUCTION: Versace "panther" muscle shirt w/Swarovski crystals - Page 2

Wow! I am truly surprised that your Ebay auction has received no bids yet; I would suspect that's because people do not understand the value of this 'unique and exclusive' piece of shirt. That's some high fashion and you're selling it for a mere $1750? US dollars? Whattabargain. If it doesnt sell, you could always donate it to a charity (Salvation Army?) and write it off your taxes...

Wow, this offended him so much he registered just to bitch you out.

This would go well with my new Crockett and Jones Welbecks.

Welcome to the SF! As you can see...the guys are not too keen on this particular Versace shirt. I had been a huge Versace fan since the early days...But when Donatella took over after her brother's (untimely) death, the line began to tank almost immediately, and an occasional spark of inspired creativty notwithstanding, it has never come close to recovering it's former greatness (IMHO). That this shirt could ever have been released under the Versace name speaks volumes... Dennis

I have to question the sanity of anyone who would pay $3500 for something that looks like that...

Was this the shirt that turned Lance Bass ghey?

+100 Dennis. Also, the seasons 1999-2002 were about Versace's lowest point. Designwise, they needed "fresh blood" and were really producing lackluster/unimpressive collections, business wise they had overlicensed and overstretched and nearly collapsed. So, I also fail to see what is so "collectible" about anything from that season except as a sign of how CLOSE Versace came to failing. They are doing MUCH better now (starting 2-3 seasons back) and are producing nice stuff again, but they have completely overhauled the entire brand and hired new design consultants to get them back on track and more relevant.

Wow. And that's all I have to say.

I don't care if it was Gianni Versace himself behind the counter, when you bought that shirt, even the checkout clerk thought it was unwise.

The tassle things on the back get me. Do they jingle when you walk around?

Please take this into your backyard, pile some leaves, set them on fire, and toss this hideous piece of garbage into the burning inferno. Photos will be appreciated.

I just laughed so hard my lungs exploded.
