Android, no those arent the ones I have. They have no pull strap, The cap toe has no punching, and the laces all go through holes, no metal hooks. Other than that, pretty much the same I think. They are on the Trubalance last.

I think that's the same last as the Indiana Jones boot. It would be a great looking boot in color 8 cordovan too.

Yes, Indiana Jones wore a brown boot made by Alden. Its calfskin, with a very durable sole. They look like what most people would consider construction worker boots. They sell them at the Alden store in NYC, and they cost, if my memory serves, about $300.00.

I have plain captoe color8 boots like this one, no pull strap. I love them. My favorite shoe, and for some reason my wife's favorite shoe of my small collection.

Where do you get the perforated captoe you showed us?

I have considered the Alden of Carmel black boot (just like the one I have), but might enjoy the perf captoe better.

Do yours have the pull strap? I don't really care for it.

This boot is Alden's #86 boot. It is made on the Trubalance last and is one of the boots listed in the Footbalance system of Alden's website. It is made of kid leather and cotton linings, with what I think is a calf or cowhide toe cap (just guessing on the toe cap leather). I ordered a pair in the same size and width as my 405 Indy boots. However, I had to send them back due to fitting issues. They fit tighter in the ankle area than Indy boots, and I felt I wouldn't be able to make them work even if I ordered another size.

Any Alden dealer can special order this boot, providing Alden still has them in stock. They did as of last January.
