I found a bottle of Cosmopolitan Mix in the fridge. I can only pray it came with the apartment. This move will kill me, yet.

you are leaving the city?

How far has exile taken you? Tell me you did not flee to Strong Island.

Just take a deep breath and tell yourself that there is nothing like a good farmer's market.

I feel bad for him. Really.

Tell me about it. He should try living in the real burbs.

I live in the 'burbs, and frankly, I like it. Mind you, I have two smallish children, so it's not like I have time for much "citified" nightlife anymore anyway ...

Fairway delivers. I've been told that's the same thing. Nothing like my wife telling me that she can't talk now as she is trying to book a Fresh Direct delivery slot for tomorrow evening.

I tried the cosmopolitan. I have no idea what the real thing is supposed to taste like, but the version she made with the obnoxious organic cosmo mix tasted like a mildly alcoholic Lime Rickey, which would be fine if I were a 12-year old girl.

Since you're in the burbs, there's no shame in posting about applebee's in the, "What did you eat last night for dinner?" thread.

I have made real cosmopolitans a couple times when I have entertained a lot of women at once. I use whatever good vodka I have on hand, fresh lime juice, cointreau or grand marnier, and RW Knudsen 100% cranberry juice. They still tend to taste very alcohol wise, because all the other flavors are so intense. The pure uncut unsweetened cranberry juice absolutely make the drink. I have been thinking about making them with applejack as a festive holiday cocktail. I am not sure if this has a name.
