anyone ever try to link two of those ring leather bracelets to emulate the look of the double-wrap?

hollow, can we get an example of what that would look like?

just received my double wrap bracelet today. it's like 3:45am right now, so needless to say, i don't have the desired lighting to take nice pictures. i'll include them tmrw.

the bracelet was a little wider than I thought it'd be. which turns out to be a good thing, since that's what differentiates it from the 3sixteen bracelet. I was also skeptical that it'd fit, but to my surprise, it was perfect. for your reference, i'm 5'11", 170 lbs, so if you're larger than I am, I would include your wrist circumference in your correspondence with hollow.

only issue I have with the bracelet is that it feels a little dry, so an application of Pecards may be in order. tho that might just be me being nitpicky.

if you're looking for an alternative to the $50 3sixteen bracelet, look no further. hollow will do it for your for $25. this bracelet has the unicorn's nod of approval.

Looking good, Gee. I do belts in multiple widths, but 1.5 inches is the "normal" width. I like 1.75" if you only plan to wear the belt with jeans, and most people prefer 1.25" for formal. Some recent work since I haven't posted any pictures in a while:

I have a question about leather color and its evolution. It seems like the appeal of natural leather is how it changes color and darkens. What does this mean in regards to colored leathers. Will they stay as they are or will they evolve as well? It would be interesting to see how some of these browns/mahogany/etc colors change over time if in fact they do. Also can you put somewhere here or on the website or flickr an overview of the color options. I have seen many, but a posting showing several options side by side would be great to compare. Even better would be to have this alongside photos of how these might look in a year. I'm also wondering if the bracelets can be made a little narrower. I think i might like a double, but would want each strand to be less wide.

Natural leather is fun because it's visibly absorbs your history really quickly. The darker leather definitely gains character as well, but it's not quite as apparent. I have some older stuff that's been dyed, and it shows wear: This is my main color palette, though I also have another really dark chocolate brown that isn't shown here: As far as the bracelet width, the limiting factor is the closure hardware. I do about 15mm wide so that there's enough meat left on the leather after I punch the hole for the stud. If you want something narrower, I can always just taper the middle, but the ends will have to be wider where the stud attaches.
