Hi, i found the latest products from the shoemacker Berluti here: http://www.souliers.net/php....thold=0 or here: http://www.souliers.net/php....thold=0 What do you think about it ? The Duke of Windsor

Inspired by the classic Hammer Horror "Frankenstein". Rob

A bit overdone for my tastes.

I dont like them at all. They remind me of those silly jeans I have seen recently that had the pockets ripped off them sewn back on, but not in the exact same position. I would get the impression that whoever was wearing those shoes is trying a bit too hard. On the other hand, variety is the spice of life I suppose.

godawful. And the 3-shoe gimmick is ridiculous as well. I suppose they will be worn with those EVISU jeans with a huge seagull painted on the entire ass and with one of those "dumb rich pseudorebel" Lucien Pellat-Finet hemp-image intarsia cashmere sweaters.

I would totally wear them, if they didn't cost more than my school tuition.

You're right, I suppose there is a certain resemblance:

Have you noticed how there's never consensus on where the electrodes should go? Neck or temples?

souliers.net calls them "Berluti Emmaus". I don't know if it is their real name, but this means something along the lines of "salvation army Berluti".

I suppose they are intended to be silly, conversation-piece shoes for the man who has an enormous shoe collection. Certainly not for serious, day to day wear.

I believe the collection is known as the Rapieces Reprises (sorry can't do accents). Recollected and repieced, these shoes... well, the idea is mildly interesting, the patches just look dumb. Olga's hitting the bottom of the barrel. Her scalpel engraved leather is also annoying. Apparently these leathergoods are engraved with the script from a royal decree. About what? The price of wheat?
