Reminds me of a Compilation cd I once picked up which was released for the specials getting back together it claims to feature all the original songs of songs they covered, goes from the 60's into the 80's.

Thanks for that Ed.Interesting, unfortunate it was written by a Lower East Side 90's Skin. His memory of the Bowery at the time is flawed though.(I was living on the Bowery then) These skins were seen as a joke(as were the punks as well) Good list of tunes though.
I like them. The price looks good as well.Post photos when you get it.
As an asside, there were plenty of companies making rip off versions of the Levi ones in the 60s (I've still got a few and have come across many). Just wonder if the originals on here remember these. And if so, were they considered rubbish for not being the real thing or still pretty cool as they were still exclusive / expensive.
Poppers (!)

Honest opinion, its not really a copy of anything - just a generic denim jacket cut, zig zag stitching between the button holes like a 4 pocket Wrangler, pocket flaps a bit like a Lee Rider, front in-sets like a Levi. Side pockets are a real give away for non-60s styling and poppers were the norm back then as opposed to button holes. I know originals don't come around often, or cheap. Depends on what look you want to achieve and who (if anyone) you're hoping to catch the eye of.

I have a brown Suede one with an old 60/70s C&A label in. Fits like a glove, in a Levi style. I do wear it occasionally. But would rather have a nice Levi one. But as im a 44 chest, they are like rocking horse shit. But if i did see one at fairly reasonable money id buy it. Untill then i'll stick with my C&A rip off.

I can speak for 1968 in Blackpool. Very few leather truckers about, all were Levis, and the only blokes who could afford them were working. The greasers would pick on any mod they saw in a leather jacket, so it was also seen as a sign of hardness to wear one.
I had one once. Levis, got it dirt cheap. Had to give it back because it turned out to be a knock-off. I think I've told that story.
Leather harrington!! Never saw one would never wear one, Leather was strictly for grebos back then. Liked the pic of the chelsea boys @ Euston, so young!!! all teens & very early twenties.Just like the mob I was with al kids wanting to show how up for it they were. The Shed back then though small was evil for away fans!
Went there early 75..got battered beyond belief! Still we asked for it giving it the big un! HA HA
I could write for hours about those times. Thanks for the warm welcome folks.
Longshot...he dead...as if you didnt Know!!

Ive got a old C&A monkey jacket good quality tbh, same as some of the old St Michael stuff which was well made, like you say Levi leather trucker not easy to come by in larger sizes and always fetch good dough, two reasons why i dont own one, thought i'd found one the other weekend, alas it was a copy and a crap one at that. Managed to get a suede Towncraft/Jc Penney copy of a Levi, good quality made in Mexico of all places, que the carpet fitter joke
I'm too fat for one and, a waist-length jacket just emphasises the girth.
Looking at prices for the 'real deal' - c £300-£400 - why not?
Anyway, it's how you wear the gear, IMHO.

I ordered a denim one fairly recently on one of the Levi's sales, ran into the same problems I usually wear a 2XL but as I've heard many times before the trucker is meant to fit a bit snug and that does not fare well if you have belly, its all fine if you never want to button the thing I suppose, but if I did want to I would need more like a 3XL which would in turn be too big in other areas and those sizes never go on sell, couple that with broader than average shoulders and you got a recipe for a jacket being too short and not buttoning without cutting off proper oxygen flow.
