Heh, i wonder if slightly receding hairline around the temples makes a razor parting a no no? I cant imagine how it would look.

You always say the nicest things, Little Queenie. Looking back we all like to think we looked pretty pukka but I'm not sure we always did. The style took a long time to perfect.....

Go down your local custom car shop and buy some 1/8" striping tape, in white. Cut a piece off about 4-5 inches long and stick it on your head in the appropriate place.
If you don't like it, don't shave one in.
If you do, leave the tape on as it will be much neater than the one you would have shaved anyway.

Nice strides BH - any reason why you went for a slit pocket, rather than a slanted one? just curious.
(covered) Buttons.

I'll admit to wearing a larger man's trilby but I still find that 5 inches is plenty.
Don't go mad now, Gramps.

Here is a "Memory Jerker" for you,I had forgotten about them-until I saw one up on Ebay.In the 60s,Levis did a selection of Jean Style Jackets.Denim,Suede,Leather and to a certain extent Cord. There was another one that I do not think we have mentioned.I am talking about the plain Cotton ones, that came in a variety of Colours-Beige,Off White,Brown,Rust,Bottle Green and Navy Blue. There could be more Colours-but at this moment I cannot think of any.I had an Off White one.I would put the Date as `69?

Some of the Fellas had Receding Hairlines then-mine is not thick by any means.Just remember, the Razor Cut to start at that area, not as I have seen it-above it.

I shall try to get some better pics up soon.

They look great. Id be interested in rough prices too. How much for a suit. Do they have decent suiting fabric?
