Mod to Suedehead - Page 604

I mentioned I had found a new tailor in Ilford thanks to modculture. His name is Roger Crawford and the first fruit of our relationship, a pair of black and white dogtooth check trousers, has recently been received. I was not sure about the matching buttons but Roger suggested I try them. I have and think it was the right choice.

Cant say im a big fan of dogtooth, but that is a nice pair of strides, like the way he's flipped the way the pattern runs on the buttons, nice touch

Thought exactly the same, good looking b@stard isn't he? biggrin.gif

I also remember a lot of skinheads wearing those granny/grandad style sunglasses as well, smaller and squarer than Aviators/Polaroids - sort of thing John Lennon used to wear cool.gif

Thanks for all the comments on the trou. I'll PM you brownie with prices.

I love the pics from 1969 - for once they reveal just how immaculate some of us (probably not me) were.
