I will be honest here.Mikkel Rude Shirt Collars look too deep to me.Reminds me of BDs that Mods wore(mid 60s).In fact,if you go to DNA and others you will see the same.I always go by the 3 Fingers, that is deep enough for me.I dress according to my Income-that is why I do not have Bespoke Suits now.I look around,to me,this part of the fun.smile.gif

To maintain a long-lasting product loyalty... WTF are brand owners doing, nipping in, snagging a quick buck then fuqqing off... when the product was good, well-respected and profitable... for a quick hit?
I despair!
'Trends', I suppose. Yeh?

Hell Ed that's what companies seem to have been doing here in the states for years, sticking around awhile to gather up large pensions from employees and huge profits from their goods and then mysteriously claiming bankruptcy when they've decided it wasn't profitable anymore and disappearing with everyones hard earned money and on to the next one,  obviously these companies aren't really bankrupt its just a way to scam what they are due to pay out, not sure if that happens in England but that seems to have been the trend here for going on 40 years.

They are still showing on the DM site and were still in the DM shop in Leeds a month ago,

Okay, today I have finally managed to set aside some time to work on THE BOOK!

I'm starting by sorting out the photos, getting rid of duplicates, etc. We need to sort out copyright and permission for most of these, plus added information. I have no bright ideas how to go about this quickly and conveniently; I know much of the information will be buried in the thread somewhere, but there are now 585 pages!

Any suggestions?

How about I set up a free website somewhere, on a temporary basis, and post the stuff there, and let a few of you who are 'in the know' take a look at it? That's one idea. Anyone got a better one?

Sorry I haven't been keeping a proper record of permissions and copyrights etc. frown.gif

Okay, what I think I'll do is create two or three PDF files with the pictures in question, and circulate it amongst some of you. If you have a better idea let me know.

It's beginning to look as though I will have to go back through the thread after all. I seem to be missing some photos, notably some large ones of a girl from 1969 who was modelling some dresses. Anybody recall those?
