Brill photo's, what you wearing in the solo photo (you?) Something sleeveless? Also it's very hard to make out, but is that a trilby on your head?

Long-ish sleeveless cardigan?

Great memories, again, thanks.

I recall having a mustard-coloured cardi, used to wear it with a plain (grey) BS.

Quite a few of our lot favoured fair-isle, sleeveless v-necks - I preferred fine wool, crew necks - no shirt in summer. (Couldn't wear with braces showing, of course.)

I have an ex- whose dad has loads of pics of me - and her - from 'the day'. Problem is, she now lives in Holland and, while we have been in touch in the past 3-4 years, I've been reluctant to hook up with her when she returns to her parents, here in sunny Manchester. (She's keen, I'm not... water under the bridge and, as I'm still lovely, I'm sure she'd naturally want my body.) icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I may bite the bullet and just ask her to get hold of them. I couldn't go to the her parents' place and ask, I reckon he still hates me even after 40-odd years. (Ex-copper.)

Their must be thousands of photos out there, My mate has a load of pics of Me and Him ... Clacton in 70, and My brothers wedding in 71, I have been onto him for the last Two years to get hold of em...hard work, My friend Noreen has a mate of hers who has loads of pics 69/70. again hard work.
Not everyone is interested in dragging out pics of their youth.
Such is life.

Mind you, photography was in its infancy when you were young, Roy.

Nice pics mate - good to see. Them strides look like POW to me.
I know the boots ye mean - seen a pair before with steel caps and white trim round the top. Got a similar pair mesell but without the steel - quite low on the ankle.
When you say the stitched soled cherry reds - is that still with the white strip or were they different?

I never ever saw anyone get a camera out not even the Girls, It was only when the small pocket Kodak Instamatic came out in the 80s people started to carry them on the odd occasion, thats why their is loads of pics of 80s Skinheads about.

My Birthday is next Sat the 15th April, fcuk that !

Greats pic Circustavern, smile.gif

Bought these a few years ago - John Lewis - wore them a couple of times but they (one shoe!!!) were a tad tight... so they went into storage.

Just having a 'spring clean' and found them - whaddya think, worth 'stretching' the offending clog?
