Beat me to it Bassett,M&S do great Cardigans-saw some Sleeveless (with Pockets the other day). Not my size though. Also their 3 Button Merino Wool Polo Jumpers are comfortable to wear(similar to John Smedleys-but half the Price).I know it is more Mod than Skinhead.
We have butchers coats here in the US Elwood, but wearing them to sporting events has never been a thing. Clever and I imagine they got the point across!

Not without the Pockets-and the Bottom Buttons look odd to me.I have a rotound Belly so the Buttons would not lay right.Ben Sherman do a similar one, but in cable knit http://scootssuitsandboots.com/ben-sherman-cable-knit-cardigan-me00157-almond-marl.php
Both cream and mustard sleeveless cardies for me in '69.This was a very short Fad,in the early 70s-did not last long though.
Back in the 60s,loved wearing Sleeveless Pullovers.I had them in a variety of Colours. Also the Thin Lambswool Jumpers were good with Jeans or Cords.I only had one thick Chunky Cardigan(with the old Football Style Buttons on),in Rust Colour I think.I was lucky to pick up a couple of Sleeveless Chunky Cardigans(Deadstock) about a year ago-in Navy and Wine.I think they look alright with Trousers or Jeans.Never really caught on in the 60s though.
Check Next out once in a while mate, iv'e picked up some nice heavyweight shawl collar ones over the past couple of years
