yeah, they were the rough rinse which i think lvc discontinued so they probably wanted to get rid of stock.iy was a few months ago so may not have em anymore. Division St and West St have a couple of good vintage shops. Quite a few b/d ben shermans 15quid. And cow on West St i got some made in England dm oxblood shoes 25quid in very qood Nick.

Gotta usually go through alot of shirts with tiny collars but you can get some decent ones sometimes, i had a laugh when  ''a new shop'' shop in sheffield was charging 90 quid for an old donkey jacket, just a tad overpriced lol.

Good to finally meet some of you today & a worthy way to celebrate my first anniversary on Mod to Suedehead (how time flies...). Very honoured to be invited along and looking forward to the next meet. Have a safe trip home, folks!

Good to meet you lads ! (you'll notice they are nine on the picture)

Just a word of thanks to John (Mr Knightley) for arranging the London meet yesterday.  A very pleasant afternoon drink with good company and banter.  Covering all topics from Crombies to Brexit

Representation from as far afield as Coventry, Scotland, Poland, France and Canada, oh and a few London boys

Until the next one - thanks

All loafers/weejuns, except for one pair of dealer boots and one pair of DM smooths, if my memory serves me well? Bring on the shoe circle.

X Post from The Look Goes On.

What a great day in London yesterday at the SF meet-up!

Thanks to everyone who came and made it so enjoyable. I shall edit the pictures today if possible and PM them to everyone.

Almost right @Bela Kun - there were a highly suspect pair of trainers in the mix.  Just kidding cov:D

Best

John

It was a pleasure, guys.  I just keep wishing I had bought those pebble grain weejuns in dark burgundy / brown...

I'll edit the pics, PM them and do a little report here and on The Look.

You will notice it's the Frenchy who found the Weejun shop ! smile.gif
Yeah the pebble grain ones were nice. I ve got to buy a pair of Weejun once in my life, but i always hesitated with the Sebagos, and the Paint House Gang ones are looking damm' good...
Speaking of Penny Loafers, the Minets favorites, the JM Weston, are the best IMO, but not in the same price range...

But only one pair of Weejuns yesterday - on an Englishman!

Anyway, a few pics to commemorate the third SF meet up for The Look Goes On / Mod to Suedehead members.  We started last July at the Clachan in Kingley Street with five people, increased to seven for our November 2015 meet at Baker Street and yesterday we had nine!

Liberty in high summer - I popped in to look at the Vintage Mens Accessories section.
