Just curious like. .

Had a look for this in passing today and found two jackets fairly similar. One was raglan-sleeved made from a matt material, looking and feeling a bit like that of a Tyvek overall, with same-width knit collar, cuffs and hem. I presume you mean this one? The other had set-in sleeves, was made from a lighter shinier material (looked and felt more like the early 70s version I knew) and the knit collar and hem were about half the width of the cuff (which looked a bit 'wrong'). Or is there a third version out there?

Sunday mornings during the 80's,Brick Lane was a regular stroll for me.It always felt like it was frozen in time in a period somewhere between the 50's and 60's.Old men in flat caps, gaberdine coats with a bit of string for a belt.Everyone scratching a living .Stark contrast to The trendy markets a Portobello and Camden.

Great picture. Love the cardy and plain shirt. Could be a revivalist, though the width of the turnups points to the original era?

Yeah that's what I was thinking, the location is exactly the same as where the coventry skins were.

Are the Coventry skins seen in the picture revivalists? I always thought they were from the original era.

Someone earlier gave the source as Daily Mirror 1969 I think.

The shirt, 'smokey Joe' cardigan and hair length look right for how we were in 69

The turn ups are big but not every area were exactly the same in what we wore

Good find

Looks very much like Armstrong next to Grissom. Not part of the same mission crew, but I'm sure all the NASA fellas hung out together as a crew.
