Sorry about the deleted posts - a cock-up at MixCloud, my fault!

Okay, new podcast. This is Kate's penultimate session in the STAR studio at St Andrews, and she has taken the opportunity to play a few tracks she wanted to play during the year but didn't get around to them. Actually, even though there's only one track from "our era," I really loved the music in this session. Betty Davis and Cymande were totally funky; Stevie Wonder's most introspective track ever - They Won't Go When I Go (from his 1974 album Fulfillingness' First Finale) - continues to grow on me with its overtones of Bach and Brahms (chatting to Kate about this, she told me I was getting deep into the musicology for once!); Frank Ocean's version of Henry Mancini & Johnny Mercer's Moon River... well you can't go wrong with that songwriting combination... the version has some strange vocal treatment at the beginning but settles down wonderfully; and at last she plays some Milton Nascimento. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Next week I'll be guesting in the studio and we're hoping to run for two hours. I've requested some 1960s stuff.

got myself some extra-skinny braces, between this and another one with a grey-black pattern

Pretty nice combo here, reminds me of the 10th doctors outfit from the Doctor Who episode Silence in the Library.

Also wore this shirt with a more 90s tie and my green tweed jacket, which looked pretty neat.

Giving this purple tonic jacket another chance. Not sure such a close-fitting jacket does me any favours as far as my shoulder-to-waist ratio is concerned, but its nothing worth throwing away if I can fix it, and I'm pretty sure I can.
The shirt I'm wearing in this pic also has an odd dark, tall collar band with a bright white button so it might honestly have it's own neat look worn without a tie and just buttoned all the way up David-lynch style.

I like the black and red checkerboard tie, i would wear that, nice combo with the dark grey pinstripe and dark purple shirt too.

Any idea the age of this jacket i just bought online for £1(prob cos it has moth holes, don't bother me part of buying vintage) i'm thinking seventies. Thanks.
