When ever I mention taps to a Perth cobbler they either don't do them or have these things as thin as tin foil.

I remember seeing a pair of old churches with some decent taps being sold as tap shoes a while ago in a drycleaner or something like that.

For actual cobbler work I recommend Jon's Bootmakers, Shop 105 in the Trinity Arcade.
I have to track down my own taps and bring them into him.

Nope

MJ Bale who have a very similar line to Herrigbone were supposed to have an online store available last month, but their website seems to be down. Hopefully they're working on it as we speak.

Just did a walk through of Harrolds Collins Street Store on my lunchbreak.

They are about to shut down for 2 weeks renovation so they have 60%-70% right across the store. With 70% off, harrolds begins to be good value for money!

Some nice buys in there- but is apparently ending tomorrow.

My new glasses.

They're a sea green or teal green colour.

These are from Australian designer Roger Henley. My previous frames were also Henleys. I trod on them, putting my full weight on them, plus a big box I was carrying, but they did not break. They were able to be restored almost 100% to their original shape. However I needed a second pair of frames, and I thought anything that tough had to be worth sticking with.

I want to give a shout-out to iSpex Funky Spex in Collingwood, where I got these. They're a great shop to go for some individual frames unlike anything you'll see in OPSM et al. They stock designer frames that don't need to scream their logos to the world, from Australia, US, Japan and Europe. Even conservative dressers like me can find something to suit while all the svelte young things can go full-on retro chic.

CalDreamer,

Those are great glasses. I'll have to see if anyone in Brisbane stocks Roger Henley.
