Links eh--don't you find French cuffs annoying when you have to use a keyboard/mouse? To me French cuffs are the male equivalent of fingernails so long they impair your typing.

Never been a problem for me. When I reach forward to the keyboard, the cuffs move up my arms and turns outwards sufficient enough that it does not rest on the keyboard. And my sitting position and arm rest is quite high (armrest on the same plane as the laptop keyboard) that my arms are like bridges linking armrest to keyboard and don't really touch the desk.

Only on laptops. Stand-alone keyboards are cuff-link friendly.

Keyboards that advertise themselves as "cufflink friendly". That'll be the day! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Gents, I need some help with something.

I've got my Uni graduation next Thursday and need a lapel decoration. Where can I source one in Melbourne? Shipping from overseas (unless it's express) isn't really an option at this late stage. Though, I may be wrong. Thank you smile.gif

Ditto.

All my new shirts have 2-button barrel cuffs.

Lapel flowers from Vanda can be there in 2 days If you fedex them; check with them though.

Does P Johnson have any lapel flowers left? I think they used to have some from Raffineria in Japan.

What about the Armoury? HK Speedpost is pretty fast once the product is sent out.

Not sure where else you can get any...

Well, there ya go!

Seriously, as long as you have that flower loop thingie on the back of your lapel, why not use a real flower?

Vanda flowers pins are nice, wearing one today - though might be too late to order.

I know Tom at P Johnson Tailors does not have any of the felt flowers left but has some paper ones which he uses for displays and I am sure he would give you one.

But I agree with applyon. Buy some cornflowers at a market, give them to the better half and borrow one for the lapel. Should not cost more that $7 - cheap options, gets a few brownie points and looks the nicest.

Why do you need to wear a lapel decoration? Will it be of some signifigance to you on your graduation?

I assume you'll be wearing academic dress, so it might be wise to not draw attention away from that with a carnation in your lapel just for the sake of it.

During my graduation, we got handed gold lapel pins with the uni crest on it after the ceremony. A nice token of remembrance of the day I guess.

Postera Crescam Laude b*tches.
