I keep getting mixed messages about the fit though...knowledge of your experience would be great.
Enjoy the shoes.

Just Gerry, please :) I'm wearing the Mortimers right now and getting quite comfortable with the snugness. The C&J Sydneys are beautiful as you well know. I take a size 9.5 in the 348 last but when I tried the Sydneys in 9.5, it still felt a little loose in the heel. Christian suggested I try a black size 9 Sydney which they had there and they actually fitted really well. I never would have thought I'd be wearing any shoe in size 9 but there you go. I had a similar experience when I tried a pair of Tods loafers in Malaysia - size 9 fitted perfectly. It might be on the cards ...

I think the best thing would be for you to try them out for yourself and see how they are on your feet.

The Sydneys cost $599 and there's more info at http://shop.herringbone.com/ProductDetail/mens/shoes/shoes_crockett_and_jones_sydney/2199

I am aware of Shipito's Assisted Purchase Service but what i am after is one where u don't pay extra fees. Click and Buy. No middle man.
Why not just buy from shops that ship internationally? There is enough places on the net that do to satisfy pretty much everyone. I think what u are looking for doesn't exist to be honest. Why would these people not charge fees for their service? That's their whole business isn't it?

I have nothing against their business practices, my point is in relation to saving money.
I am a member of Shipito and have used the assisted purchase feature in the past, its great, it works.
But i don't want to pay extra anymore.
They have a new site called zeeg.us which does the ap part on your behalf without all those extra fees, but atm
only a select number of sites are available for use (amazon.com being one).

i guess the search continues.

you're not going to find a free service. How much are you currently paying for forwarding?

any recommendations?? u can pm me if u don't want to list company names here.

You can buy levis from amazon which can be shipped to shipito. Try general retail sites - bluefly, nordstrom, amazon etc.

you can buy levi's anywhere.

This imo has the best range
http://unionmadegoods.com/

this is good because shipping is free and free returns (i think)

I am located in Brisbane and open to any suggestions including non boots. Just after something clean, simple and preferably unbranded. Trying to get away from sneakers a bit. Thanks.

A fine Pair of Shoes with SF 10% discount. See side link

Someone was asking earlier in the week for me to post up a photo of my new Herring Chamberlain's. As promised here they are!

(I decided to upload a photo of my Cheaney Leadenhall's too, seeing as they are a different style on exactly the same last).

Hope this helps whoever was looking for captoes!
