Well that was a complete waste of time. They had a grand total of one sport coat and it had a dumbass crest on the front pocket.

My Japanese isn't as good as it used to be - at the risk of soundling like an American: what are these and how much are they in dollars?

Does the red Japanese lettering mean sold out?

Gents,

I've posted this in a seperate forum, but I thought I should get some feedback from my local styleforumers as well.

Long story short, I've just purchased a SAB Westminister II brief from Mr.Porter and I'm not quite sure if the white stuff on the leather is cleanable or should I have it exchanged for a bag in better condition

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks & regards,

Second pic is probably closer in colour. That will be it for now for a week or 2 until I get all of the stock and get the professional photo's done.

I'm loving this burgundy tie!

Yes, I would ask for the same. Mr. Porter should oblige - they trade pretty heavily on their name.

it's 'bloom' - perfectly normal for bridle leather, and represents waxes and such migrating to the surface. buff with a dry cloth or brush and use as per normal.

Mumble F@#K Mumble The Pen Shop in Sydney CBD is closing, good time to get a new fountain pen or other stylus with the discounts they are offering. The downside is where to buy a decent pen in Sydney now. Any suggestions?

There is Pen-Ultimate in the QVB or Chifley - not cheap, but good service and a very good range. Barbara, the owner, is very knowledgable and will give you tips on your handwriting, whether you ask for them or not.

Did Mahler 2 live up to your expectations? Am I right in thinking that was the last in the Mahler retrospective brought to us by the man in the white skivvy?
