bought 9G as my chesnut boots in 9F are still too tight. got some large shoe trees into them and they have stretched out a bit. They are OK but after an hour or so of being in them as my feet swell they become tight shog[1].gif

DJ's currently sells them for <$250. BTW thanks for all the hotel recommendations. Greatly appreciated.

I signed up when they first did it about 3 years ago, I have not signed up this year cause i am no longer working as a corporate. Its a good deal and worth it, i sold my membership this year to my cousin for more than i paid for it, if you can get a membership which is hard its worth it. The bloke who owns Joseph anthony bespoke is out there but if you can sign up do it, if not get your name on the waiting list.

What do you mean by "cut" here? Entertain us non-native speakers here. smile.gif

By 'cut' I mean to remove a bit of the polish using the same cloth but this time dipped in a little water (literally mean like get a drop or two of water only).

Yeah, I did. I figured if it sucked, the loss wasn't that great. Anthony is a bit out there as mentioned by someone else, but it all seemed ok. And you can change the fabric for something else if you like, adds an extra $30 per shirt, or $200-$300 per suit depending what you want.

On a similar note, I had F.T. Russell (Fiona and Tony) around the other night. Got measured up for a suit (Super 150's tropical worsted (Holland and Sherry cloth) for around $1700. I'll let you know how it turns out.

To be fair we only stock F sizes (well at least at my store that's all we get) so they would have been too tight for you anyway.

Never seen an RM Williams boot in David Jones.

You are from Adelaide, yes? Is this the Rundle Mall store?

I'm a 36S person. Unfortunately I have a bit of an aversion to used clothing. The very thought of a likely probability of the jacket having belonged to someone who may very well be in a casket 6ft under right now irks me. Although I like to think I am not superstitious, I have to admit I am a little bit in that regard.

Do you have an aversion to buying a used car? Or a 2nd-hand house?
First thing I check for in a used car is whether there's a body in the boot. And with houses, we got these pagan rituals going on before moving in.

bah - just burn some ghost money in the gutter outside your house -then put the suit on and light a bunch of firecrackers and bang a saucepan to make a lot of noise and smoke. Then she'll be apples.
