EG Dover trumps St Crispins' Dover in my book. Just a nicer looking shoe. Yeah, I know the latter were glued together with the congealed blood of virgins. But the former has a superior aesthetic.

Just my two bobs' worth.

If you want to see the Dover in the flesh, it's at DM Sydney. Might help you decide...

In other news, Kaz is currently in talks with his leather supplier wrt MTO leather briefcases. I've seen the proposed design and its a thing of beauty.

I am staying away for the moment. My bank account cannot withstand the combined might of EG Dover, JL Williams 2 and Skye 2 shells.

I'm sorting out my finances for a property or 2 atm. Eating baked beans for lunch.

Blah, I like the DB jacket and club collar, but it looks as though someone has been cleaning their paintbrushes with your tie.

I would swap the club collar for a classic collar and would swap the tie for one of the following:

- Black grenadine
- Navy grenadine
- Navy stripe

An investment property? You mind me asking where you're buying?

I'm doing the same myself for property #2 at the moment and mulling over locations.

When you were in there did you happen to stumble upon the current price tag? Skoak seems to have the best value when it comes to EG but then again they do extremely fleeting restocks in my size (UK12).

I have a pair of 888 EG Brooksvilles for RL. I also have a few pairs of 337s. I think the 888 is a bit more comfortable but EG leather is softer than C&J. At the same time C7Js 337 is a better looking shoe IMO

Can also occasionally be seen on Gerry's feet.

Makes me (Edward) Green with envy.
