Harrolds 50% of the 24th-25th August. That usually means Pal Zileri (mainline) and Corneliani for about $1100, Caruso for about $1300.

With Spring looming, I'm going to start looking for winter clothes at bargain prices. First up, where can I get a pair of slim mid-grey flannel trousers

I agree...but with the Christmas sales this year bound to be huge after further dismal retail results I am wondering whether he will need to have a smallish sale to compete with all the other suit options.

How mid do you like your mid?

There were a few pairs of 'light to mid' grey flannel trousers with patch pockets at the Herringbone Warehouse in Surry Hills for $99.

Everytime I'm in the Melbourne showroom, there are heaps of suits, like 10+ waiting to be picked up. I come back a week later, and there are another 5 or more ready to be picked up. I don't think they are struggling to find business.

- I see your point, but his price point is very competitive that it is a no brainer compared to what is available RRP in stores
- being MTO, he does not carry any stock & prices vary on cloth availability
- also being MTO there are many options to factor
- finally the PJ business models is quite lean unlike retailers

- agreed, the SYD business is even bigger.
- I struggle to get an apt unless booking 2 weeks in advance

Wait, including the ones in the windows? IIRC there were 6 jackets there, of which at least 3 were suit seperates.

Interesting feedback. Thanks guys. Looks I won't need to 'time' my purchase smile.gif

Anyone know if you pay up front for the suits from P Johnson or if you pay upon getting them?
