Congratulations CD seeing as Mrs GF and I bought a town house in July I can tell you penury is a lot (not) of fun. Except Mrs GF has now decided we now we have to start on the back court yard. Landscaping and Porters lime wash is on the agenda.

Hey guys - a few of us in SWD started up a SF art magazine - it's meant to be pretty unpretentious and fun.

Our first issue is around the theme of 'place' and we're welcoming any sort of submissions - photos are good, writing is also lovely, music is cool too, illustrations, watercolours, book reviews, whatever you got.

Personally I've always liked JM's stories of Asia and Japan a few decades ago, Mr. Nelson's photography, California Dreamer's (sometimes) terse book reviews, and Pink Socks' defense of Halloween.

So anyway, long story short - get involved, submit!!!!

It's a nice place. Every time we visit we find something new we like. Looks like the racists there have been beaten down as well, which is a plus.

What the hell is wrong with this year. Now Alan Rickman is gone too.

Was just waiting for Oscar Noms at midnight, minding my own business, and boom Alan Rickman passed away... He was one of those actors you just don't question mortality with, RIP

I wouldn't be too sure. B'go is either bogans or old hippies. With a big CEC LoR vote

Does anyone really give a fuck that Bowie and rickman died?
Or are you just saying that because you feel obliged? Because the media has been full of lament?

Were they really making any substantial ongoing contributions to the world?

Bowie hasn't created anything notable for decades
Rickman will be easily replaced for the next cheesy Severus snape role that he would have been recruited for

People die all the time. We all will
What is so devastating about these particular individuals?

This is the kind of behaviour one expects on Facebook

#1 mistake is assuming Styfo is that much different from Fb.
And wtf Severus?! He was Hans Gruber.
