Is the brooks brother size guide not to be trusted, based on the online guide I should be a medium but dropped in store unexpectedly and small didn't even fit?

Odd in every other brand of polos, I'm bored shouldered, I'm an XL but BB a L in the Original fit and they have plenty of room to spare in the body. BB are normally notorious for their large sizing in my experience.

Must be the fatty vanity sizing in USA.

Reminds me of the sizing of those cheap company polos. I got given a size S by company and I'm swimming in it. I'm going to go ask for a womens size M next time...

Just make sure it hasn't got darts in the front chest.

They've got two models of AS shoes - the Hunt brogue wingtip in brown or black from the "Exclusive" range and the Milton wholecut (I think) in brown or black from the "Handgrade" range.

For $330, both of them are very good deals and a friend of mine who bought a pair of the Hunt brogue wingtips today got a pair of lasted shoe trees for them, too, which makes the deal even better.

That AS Milton looks very like the AFPOS branded AS wholecuts I have. They are a fantastic shoe; very good deal at that price.

@Ernesto's Del Monte ad reminds me of Benny Baubles, Sammy Glitter and Leon the Watch King.

Where is the best place online to buy a solid fox umbrella? I'm thinking of a cherry or oak with a navy canopy.

Defiinitely fatty vanity sizing. I'm a Medium in their shirts, size L or 41 for every other brand.

Damn, that brings back memories! What was the name of the store - Del Monti Jewellers or something like that?

Don't know about online but Strand Hatters sell Fox brollies. I think postage tends to be a killer when ordering an umbrella over the 'net.

Does anyone own either of these shirts and can tell me how they fit? I'm generally a 38" chest and wear size S in some Fred Perry long sleeve shirts I have. Do I go for the S or size down to XS as I'm quite skinny...

Cannot tell you re sizing as non-asian sizing shirts have arms way too long for me, but I can twll you that unless youre desperate for shirts, these shirts do go into "limited offer" $10 off quite frequently.

Plus they have detailed measurements on the size guide. Compare against your shirts. They are quite accurate.

Thanks for the reply Blahman, I'm pretty desperate for 1 only... I might take advantage of GAP's 40% off first though on one of the below;

Correct. Hal Todd has a lot to answer for.

They are still in business at 130 Russell, BTW. Don't know about Benny, Sammy and Leon, but GC is still Going Concern.
