Is this a good price?

You can get a bit cheaper - Coombs in The Strand does topy/heels for $70 I believe, and the bloke in the MLC Centre does it for $75. Both are quality options and around your neck of the woods.

I can't speak for the 026 last but I bought a pair of Strands (capital last) and they have a lot of room through the vamp. I was actually wondering if anyone had any advise to solve this? I'm thinking a simple insert will do the trick. Does anyone have other suggestions?

Do you have room on top of your feet then? I find that they have a bit of space on the sides, foot is still kept in its place, but on top and heel are nice and snug. Then again I do have a somewhat high instep.

Yes, there's room on top of my feet - however the sides feel fine to me. Possibly my duck feet...

The shoes is still kept in place but I'm worried about excessive creasing. Of course, I don't mind a little (obviously unavoidable) but with the amount of room I have I get the feeling the shoe will look like it's been folded in-half after a few wears.

Just got a call from my mate. He had shoes sent from Herring, one pair was wrong size, their mistake. Postage back as required by Herring, include insurance, $70. Yes $70. Without insurance ~$60.

Luckily Herring will reimburse postage as it is their error.

Need to set up a shoe trying on share arrangement!

Anyone got a UK 8.5 G I can try on for size?

Please do. I'd be curious to see their work

California Dreamer pointed out to me that the website:: A Fine Pair of Shoes, has the sole measurements of different shoes. Not a complete answer but useful . Would be handy If some young screen jockey with nothing to do at work, like say blahman, could collect them all into a spreadsheet with lasts shoe model brand etc.

Anyone in Brisbane interested in any Saphir products? I was thinking of ordering some Renovateur and maybe some polish from Valmour and if I could split some shipping with an interested party that would be swell. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

i have a top that says hand wash only.
would getting it dry cleaned be easier?

Hand wash in cold water, no wringing, dry flat in shade.
