Did anyone go to the Saint Crispin / Double Monk trunk show?

I'm glad I convinced myself not to go, but curious to know how it went.

Nice break on the shoes, which reminds me: When I was in the army there was always an unstated 'approved' break : slightly shorter, or at the time, quite a bit shorter than found in civilian wear: essentially trousers were as short as you could go without showing socks (he he).

It's a look that has come into fashion or the mainstream with slim fits.

So it's Suitably Connected this week.
Does this mean that regular's minds are turning to what they might wear : not wearing that shirt today because it will be needed on the day...a mental note to shine shoes or get a shave...

The hope a package might arrive in time...etc

😆

What is this Suitably Connected you speak of? Do men plan on what to wear to impress one another?

Gino, show me a photo of your pristine cotton chinos without creasing after at least half a day of wear, then I might take you more seriously....

Gino's the one on the extreme right - four days of wear and not a single crease. I hope an apology will now be forthcoming.
