Speaking of Melbourne get togetherness - Come along to Kimber's launch and/or check out his popup. I'll be there and, more importantly, so with Nice Guy Gerry (before he heads with fxh to Vue De Monde).

I've moved on from Vue De Monde.

I now hang out in The Rue De Remarke.

I enquired with Collonil re the difference between their creme de luxe and their diamante; almost the same stuff, but Diamante (their outgoing premium cream) had slightly less nutrients than the creme de luxe. not that it needed any more than it already did.

I personally prefer using the neutral cream/conditioner, and then using Angelus wax over the top. If you put too much of the diamante on, the excess will come off in the rain in a messy way. But the diamante is the best all in one product, and does help to put colour back in.

Speaking of classy, I scored some scoopons for Mason Dixon American Sandwiches. The Reuben. $6.

My favourite sandwich bar. I've not been disappointed by any of the sandwiches I've tried. Have you tried any of the desserts?

Hi gents, on the recent wallet discussion; pulled trigger on this rlpl wallet. Only 4"x3" . Leather looks great as well. Paid around $190 from mol online store. Purchased from him before and very helpful forum member.
Thought about a slim wallet for few months and lots of research went on to replace my 6 years old equally slim wallet. Ettinger card case was second choice. But decided against it as it was still a bit wide for my liking.

God I hate Bonds.

They sold my favourite underwear for 6 months before pulling it from the market.

They don't look as nice as the sunken toe-taps but they still work very well and they are cheap, durable and can be fitted by anyone.

Precisely why no self-respecting iGent would go anywhere near them.

I heard that "Nice Guy Gerry" had been doing the rounds of pet shops recently, stocking up on baby rabbits.

So...y'know...be alert, not afraid.

I wouldn't have a clue which style that was, but you could try the bonds outlets, which are usually at DFO type places.

I was a fan of the bonds trunks, but found that they wore out around the waist elastic quite quickly. I've since been buying dirt cheap generic trunks from best and less and they certainly go the distance, and I'm finding them much more comfortable. I've had a few pairs as long as the bonds would last and they haven't shown any signs of stretch or fray yet.

I haven't had any problems as yet with any of their CdL or diamante creams in the rain. (I'm experimenting using Waproo as the polish at the moment.)
