Split toes are great. Ivy.JivyYesterday's discussion of split toes made me get my Meermin's out from the back of the wardrobe. I've always thought they were a bit too light in colour and a bit too red. But I took to them with some dark brown and then a coat of black polish and I'm pretty happy with the results.
Was on those classic sneaker threads where you got your pics from yesterday looking to replace mine but just doing some research as I've just bought some Meermin Chukka's (thanks Jason)! Speaking of which I've been wearing Vans for ages and putting up with whatever 'bogan' connotations come with it
I can think of a few other sneakers I'd choose before volleys for a more grown up sneaker. I don't see the volleys as anymore grown up than Vans anyway, not that I have anything against them.
1. Jack Purcells
2. Chucks
3. Adidas Stan Smiths
4. Adidas Roma
5. Tretorn
6. Superga
7. New Balance (those old ones like BMT has)
That reminds me I need some new sneakers....
Romp, you talking about Nike Roshe?
+1Let's.
Do.
This.
Thing.
Or, you know, just hang.
I like both ideas (yours and Gerry's). I'm sure I'd enjoy both quite a lot as there's a lot of Melbourne's menswear I've not explored.
