Reno + Cream + Wax is standard. Reno is universal, cream and wax are coloured. I'd go coloured cream and neutral wax these days myself, but it's up to you.

Depending how much you want, let me know. I'm trying to get a group order going so I can grab a couple of extra supplies for myself.

Dude, if possible, please sneak in 2 jars of cream (Hermes Red and Forest Green).

More than happy to. I'll make a note.

Down for some creams. Will Pm with colours when I get home.

I just got the conditioner and cream polish by saphir from Double Monk. Chris recommended those as the basics, and rotating in a wax polish as well if you're right into the mirror shine.

I don't mind the stuff, smells terrible though.

In terms of glasses - I too go to specsavers. Are there any good brands out there for conservative business dress? I've seen the oliver peoples but they kind of make you look like you've just stepped off a spaceship...

Exciting news.. Some of the first suitshop clients had their 2nd fittings this week and turned out great. Unfortunately none of this week's deliveries were ideal mannequin sizing but ill have some promo pics up early next week.

I won't disagree with the above. I've only worn it open necked so far bar today and figured if there's a tie to wear with this kind of shirt, a knit tie would be one of the ones to try! I was due for a miss by now....

I like the chambray shirt with that tie. Would also look good with one of your tweed ties from last year.

I'll save you the time and effort Pinky; Feather FTW.

The only problem is they blunt somewhat quickly / unpredictably. This can leave a bit of mess if you're not careful.

Thanks. This is the package I got - http://www.mensbiz.com.au/double-edge-blade-sampler-pack.html. It has some Feathers in there so will try them out. I thought after seven years of double edge/safety razor shaving it was time to find out what blade was best for me rather than just buying whatever I find at the chemist when I run out. Good to head others preferences too. The sample kit seemed like good value for money and from there I can buy in bulk what I know suits me best.

Tempting. I have had a few Turkish shaves and they always feel so great. I even love when they do the back of your neck after a haircut. Feels so fresh.

I would not mind taking the time and effort to get the technique right and do it once a weekend (when not in a rush). Shaving can actually be quite therapeutic if you have the time.

In saying that I would probably slice myself open, esp if you and so called Nice Guy Gerry were standing there laughing.

PinkSocks, please grow a beard :)

I wish. I can never get passed the itchy phase. Plus my facial hair takes on a gingery tone and if I do not shave for a couple of days I look 10kg heavier (which is something I could do without).

Though I did like the sleek but full beards Clooney, Affleck et al where sporting around the Oscar season.

PS Romp glad to hear things are going well for Suit Shop.

PPS Jason, please continue to post your WIWT photographs. I quite liked that you took a bit of a risk today and though it had a nice casual winter feel. Especially those beautiful trousers.
