and i agree re: iSurg.. canvass is overrated - heavy and hot

Only overrated for summer IMO. Fully canvassed can't be beat for shaping of the chest and front in general. Of all my coats/suits, it's the fully canvassed ones that have the best shape and drape on the fronts, especially when un-buttoned. And that's just for ready to wear, I can only imagine the shaping to be even better again on bespoke when it can be specifically shaped to your body.

Lol, unfortunately that's not that helpful for me.

I have a Meermin in their Ben last, which fit well. I find the 026 last to be slightly too wide, but the 386 last is a very nice fit.

Thanks anyway!

While I have your attention - will you guys to CMT?

Did the safety razor trip back in my twenties the old man gave me German razor, the septic pencil was my friend on a lot of days. A lot of my friends of mine are into safety razors it, its one of those lost manly arts which has gained a lot of popularity.
I get a good shave from a Mac3. I just had to change a blade that I had been using since January when I bought a razor pit. Very impressed saved a packet on blades the past four months.

Mmh I think CD was recommending that razor pit - I'm naturally sceptical.... but perhaps....

I don't get a great deal better shave off safety razors especially considering the mucking around and safety issues.

Do you mean this one?

We must have different definitions of what drape is in a coat, because that one has none from what I can see. It needs a bit of work IMO, more room in the chest and waist (no offence to the owner). I think an un-lined coat, unless in very heavy fabric can't really get much, if any drape. It simply isn't heavy enough and that's where the canvass comes in.

Trousers look great however.

Can't see the trousers, or the jacket - work has blocked Tumblr's. Worst.

Oh it's a cool lining I found on Huddersfield Fine Worsteds, by Hunt & Winterbotham (http://www.hfwltd.com/bobb.php?b=haw&c=10&p=4)

Is it possible to post what mills you have access to?

Sorry for bombarding you with questions. I will buy something eventually!
