Thanks DB - we are there for a few days so might get a car for a day.

Have you told Michael Bastian that you've fallen in love with Tony Ciongoli yet?

Cichetti's for dinner. It's pretty good.

How does Hunt compare with P Johnson?  Not trolling, genuinely curious.  Has anyone had a suit made by both?

Assuming you mean this Saturday its going to be questionable surf wise.

Ankle snappers at swell magnets til Tuesday. Mild trade swell wed/thur... with 15-20kt SE's. Byron will become a circus with people coming early for Bluesfest. A few options I can pull out but it depends on what you want out of a wave and how much you like to drive. I'd probably save the board fees (!) without a car.

Edit In general be prepared for a significant influx of Bluesfest patrons to the point Byron gets a bit crowed.

Enjoying the turn to the cooler weather and the opportunity to change the outfits a bit.

Last night, art gallery launch: PJ jacket, vintage silk square, PJ polo, Nudie jeans, Carmina suede loafers, PRL scarf. (I bought a painting, and the wife even liked it!).

Today, op shopping. Barbour cardi, PJ polo, Balmain cords, Santoni suede brogues,

Cool marriage of outdoorsy materials and tailored style? Or is it neither fish nor fowl?

I really like it. My Barbour navy Powell jacket (quilted) is my favourite jacket - warm, stylish, the blue is very nice and has nice detailing like leather highlights. I love it.
