The only thing worse is academics at The Conversation.

Program Manager indeed.

I hate that site.

I haven't read it since they did the article about adding a 'H' to 'LGBTI' in order to recognize the Indian Hijra.

Oli, CD stalks M. Grattan and I post here and there as Francis Holden. I've long ago given up on Michelle, she's all he said she said, and the usual journo drama of canberra " insider" nonsense, but I think CD is smitten.

Write your open press releases give them a background opening parragaph and the rest of what you want in circulation in dot point form and give them a couple of notable quotes during the (lol) interview.

CD would like to do some smiting, sometimes.

I’m not a program manager any more; that’s a long way out of date. Should I change it? Maybe to Member of the Great Unwashed.

If we wrote press releases we'd never end up in the press.

Tbh when my MJA article got airtime, the conversation were the only ones of all the major news outlets, including rupert's rag that actually explained the article accurately.

Sure it has a lot of shit in it - but just skip the non-research and non-politics sections.

Geoff thanks I've been quoted many times in the paper myself however you still don't understand... This is inbound, not outbound.. We made no announcement.

Just got the specs for the A2 on order from Kelso Mfg, in order to firm up the details. Compared them to the specs for my Alpha and Cockpit A2 leather jackets.

What I've learned?

With US-based A2 manufacturers (Cockpit, G&B) always size down.

With UK and European-based manufacturers (Kelso, Aero, Eastman etc) DO NOT size down; they're pretty true to size!

What colour ribbing did you go with in the end?

Gents, a question: orphaned suit jacket as a sport coat, yes or no?

Absolutely not.
