Do you ever recommend to people to go one way or another? No padding doesn't work for a lot of people, but seems to have taken over in people's minds* as the way suits should look.

*Probably only igents.

Was it Despana? What did you think of the tapas?

Thanks gents, for the sage advice. @JimmyHoffa indeed it was Despana. I quite enjoyed the dishes; we had the paella, croquette and the roast brown mushrooms. Mind you, Despana was plan C to Bodega and the Winery.

she is definitely lying. Sorry, but they are fucking. No way he just "bumped into her" then she left her bag with him when she went to the toilet?

Sorry champ, he went balls deep that night

She probably wants to keep things "casual" with him so she can root around, so no reason you cant be balls deep too

Ouch! A wise man once told me, to blindly trust a person until they've proven they can't be trusted. She had a couple of mutual friends, one of which was good friends to the both of us. I fact-checked with him as to whether she did have a boyfriend, and to his knowledge, she didn't. It pays to not jump to conclusions.

What am I missing here? The only good deals appear to be the leather wallets they've been trying to get rid of for months.

Yeah but reading your other comments you seem to take a pretty negative view to them.  There is plenty of standard Navy and charcoal suits in the 2 for $800.  Whilst not up to their Japanese standard of former years for what you get its pretty hard to argue that and their standard 2 for $1000 isn't good OTR value and an excellent starting point for beginners or those looking to expand the wardrobe with descent pieces on the cheaper side.

Thanks for the heads up sliq...think im obsessed with burgundy, the quarter brogues are a very tempting price with the above but think ill hold out for the loafers.  The drake ties look pretty good too but I will save my pennies for HC spring collection.

I dislike a large portion of MJ Bale's product catalog and their marketing, but I still recommend them to anyone who asks as the first place to go for a suit. I've never said anything to the contrary, indeed I wrote the SF wiki and another recommendation blog saying just that.

I didn't see the 2 suits for $800, that's pretty darn good.

Well can't argue with that, apologies if I misconstrued your comments.

Hrmm tempting feel like you can never have enough suits but ive got a good rotation happening at the moment, think ill stick with the plan to get the next suit made up from Deerstyle.

I have a navy, a grey and a charcoal so I'm pretty sweet. Trying to push my friends into getting it though.

Top to toe op shop today.

Suit: Zegna Trofeo. This suit has a fabric label saying “Woolmark Gold”, which I’ve not seen before. Anybody know what that is?
Shirt: Finamore MTM (for a billionaire, actually - his name is on the tag).
Tie: Stefano Ricci
Square: Paolo Albizzati
Shoes: Alfred Sargent (these are a touch big on me, so I will probably move them on).
Belt: Dunhill

My op shop scent was Prada Infusion d’Iris eau de parfum.
