Speaking of returning balance to the force.....my bet is that episode VII is going to be a flop.

Go somewhere not too stuffy. I like Bodega on Commonwealth St, sit at the bar and you can watch the chefs make your meal, wine by the glass. Smart casual, no 3 piece + tails

fortunately not :D

My only advice - clean sheets, plenty of bubbly stuff in fridge and some coffee, chocolate and cigarettes.

somehow, i knew 'firm' might have been misconstrued. ha. but thanks for the clean sheets and bubbly in the fridge tip lol

this isn't my 'first' ever date - not boasting but this girl is number 7 for the year. i think. i've actually lost count/forgotten names. had a good 4 months break from dating but now back on the scene. thanks for the tip CD, JH and foxhound for the tips. was hoping to go Bodega but it's closed. looking at The Winery now.

Anyone interested in a size 40 Drakes London Mackintosh in ink blue (if you wear a size 38 suit, this is the size you want for a raincoat)?

It's this one:

Never worn, and currently languishing in my cupboard; it needs a new home (-:

Also, if anyone is interested in Size 36 Dark Navy Baracuta (slim fitting, Made in England), and a Size 38 mid-blue one (blousy, made in Turkey), let me know as well.

Thought I'd give my fellow Aussie forumites first dibs before posting on B&S... prices are of course, negotiable. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Is this a serious question? Really?

Let me be clear - give me an S, give me a U, give me an E, give me a D, give me an another E.

SUEDE baby. All the way. Like Mr Nice Guy Gerry says, you won't regret it.

To quote myself (bloody hell I am worse than fxh) - "suede brown Chukkas (you should never be in anything else)".

Is there an alternative to m&r in Sydney CBD that is good for suit alterations that people would recommend and used before?

I need to get some dark brown/chocolate suede. Will pickup a pair of RMW Macquarie boots in chocolate suede in the future.

Got some snuff suede coming which will hopefully be here this week. I'm putting some colour back into my wardrobe, received these during the week.

Carmina Cognac Cordo PTB's on the Detroit last. Have some indigo 316s coming as well. Haven't worn indigo denim in years.

[fxh] Your nearest army disposals store. [/fxh]

Alternatively, you could have a look somewhere like Charles Tyrwhitt or TM Lewin.

Edited to add: TM Lewin have some in stock:
