A couple of photo's in today's Government Gazette outlining the process for making of RMW boots - thought Oli might be interested if he hasn't seen it already!

Here...

Oh, and a loooong story about the business and a cash injection from LVMH...

"...The pair put mutton fat in the soles — a practice that continued until the late 1970s — to condition the boots, which were made to last for months in the Australian bush without repair. They were intended to be worn without socks (just some baby powder on the feet), mainly because ringers couldn’t afford them and didn’t have time to darn or sew."

For anyone unfortunate enough to still be stuck at the office, this might help - I just put up a new post covering the internals of a bespoke coat (the one Bijan is currently making for me). http://www.timelessman.com.au/bespoke/inside-bespoke-coat/

Nice article Andrew! The internal works on Bijan's jackets are simply a work of art.

With the sales now on at David Jones - is Anthony Squires considered a quality suit?

Overpriced, no canvas lining and blocky. The colour range is boring even by my standards.

You could do worse though.

What's worse than your standards?

Jokes. But experiment a little. YOLO, or whatever..

Thats such a Gen-X, pre-GFC, pre-IPA ascendancy view of the world.

Everyone knows clean lines are the new black:

Wallabies kicking the French butt, found a blue lambs wool jumper today on sale reasonable markdown and size smaller than last year.

Honey Badger just scores Wallabies 36 v France 9 20 minutes to go.

Loving the badgers work and enjoying the game with a few shiraz and now a Johnnie walker blue.

In desperation found old bottle of Cinzano in back of cupboard. With Buderim Ginger Cordial and Soda Stream fizzy water - it does bring back memories I never originally had. Was good to see on Rockqiz Garland Jefferies

The last time I drank Cinzano it cost a $1.30 a bottle.
