Any eyeglasses wearers checked out these dudes yet?:

https://www.oscarwylee.com.au/

Two pairs for $98 is very competitive I reckon.

I have ordered five pairs as a free trial and will report back.

My friend has some.

Like their competitors e.g. Bailey Nelson, the acetate is a bit cheap looking compared to something more expensive but other than that they're perfectly functional.

Where are the accessories (aka the bridesmaids)??

Went back to TM Lewin today. The tweed jacket was gone for now (coming back in a month apparently, along with some other odd jackets), but I picked up a grey merino 'waistcoat' (members on here were all jazzed for these last winter) and a light brown merino v-neck jumper. Nice stuff. Total $160 including a 20% discount...

I know it's been said before, but I'm just shaking my head at the service from A Fine Pair of Shoes.

I ordered a pair of shoes from them online on Saturday, and they arrived here at about 9am today. Along with the shoes at a 25% discount, I got:

  • free international delivery
  • free lasted shoe trees
  • shoe bags
  • shoe shine cloth
  • free tin of Saphir medallion polish.

Amazing.

Julian and Sarah are great to deal with. What style / colour did you get California Dreamer? I am thinking of pulling the trigger on either Hunt Mahogany or Moore Cherry. Bit worried the Cherry will be a bit too bright red as opposed to a more versatile burgundy.

That's incredible, what did you get?

I got a pair of AFPOS Spencer brogued whole cuts, in midnight blue. I've been keen on a midnight blue shoe since I saw a swatch in that colour at a Cleverly trunk show, and the AFPOS sale clinched it. At your suggestion, I've also ordered a midnight blue West End belt from Equus to go with it. Thanks for that idea.

Were any of you wearing a lilac sportscoat today, with mid-grey pants and tobacco suede loafers? (in Brisbane). sick.

Also, Jason/Henry Carter, in the sale section on the site, are any of those ties left? Or are they all out of stock? Looking to quickly increase my tie wardrobe.

Cheers

Basically if it says out of stock it is and if it doesnt, then we have stock (possibly only one or two left for some.). I really need to remove the sold out ones just been caught up with getting new stock sorted.

I got mine on Monday and am similarly pleased with how exceptional their service is. Better than your average brick and mortar even

Looking good, TBM - although I'm sure that your glasses frames are larger every time I see a photo of you!

I just got back from four days beside the Noosa River, bumming around in polo shirts, chino shorts and deck shoes or Birkenstocks (well, at least they're better than Crocs, I mumble apologetically...). Had some great seafood, poked around some small coastal hinterland towns, and generally had a pleasantly relaxing time. The kids were so tired from all the running around, swimming and playing that they were asleep by about 7pm each night.
