My thoughts from a visit to Mornay Street this arvo:
I agree with quar - La vera from Luciano looks really promising. Really light, drapes fantastically, and amazing details. The tailoring requires a different approach to the fit as well to compensate for the amount of drape as there is no canvas. You can definitely see and feel the jump in make quality, subsequently reflected in price. Would look farking amazing in a SB. Note that they're only offering jacketing at the moment - pantalones to come later. Not sure if a DB would look as good in this style, and I've got DB in my mind for early next year. Some high twist Loro fabrics coming in (similar to jjminnis, as an italian version of fresco), and I'll probably pick from that bunch to have something made. At least I walked away with some staple workwear today, and got to spend some time in that wonderful store.
