Leather belts = Tailfeather or Temono.

EDIT: there seems like there's a decent need for a very capable mens tailor in the major cities.

I think the fine weave (garza fina) grenadines seem to be a lot more delicate than the garza grossa ties. I've got four Kent Wang grenadines which are of the latter type and they've been fine after nearly a year.

Garza grossa:

Garza fina:

More info here and here. A tailor should be able to fix the pulls, I believe.

Looks like the advice is to use a tool like this thing

Anyone seen something similar in fabric stores in Aus? All I know of is spotlight. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Would rather not wait for eBay delivery - I'm worried that I'll tear the pulls in that time (some have already torn :( )

I was asking about 100 pages back.

RM Williams, Tanner Goods, Saddleback leathergoods (100 year warranty), Hunt Leather, Herringshoes. Et al.
Thanks some of those at Hunt Leather look really nice
These look pretty good if you don't mind mail ordering: http://www.epauletshop.com/servlet/the-Accessories-cln-Belts/Categories

Also these for casual belts: http://www.narragansettleathers.com/

Have a look at this post: http://putthison.com/search/belts
Cheers will check these out
What's wrong with those? They look gorgeous. Belts are something that I am looking at now and I think I will have to go online as there just isn't anything for the same price point around.
They are nice but I thought I would try to buy a local product first before I opt to buy over seas

Ah k, makes sense. The only true home grown option is RM Williams and their belts can be quite unusual. Last time I checked their Sydney city store they didn't have anything dressy, just big buckle country style stuff.

On this topic, does anyone have experience with these? http://www.kentwang.com/accessories/bridle-leather-belt.html I'm considering the natural leather one rather than the Tanner Goods option.
