My jacket in the kitchen is also not waxed cotton. It's a look I love, and honestly much better than those trench coats with 20 buttons that make you look like inspector gadget. Mackintosh jackets are okay but I haven't really seen any great fits. As for Ethan he hasn't started it, and from the blog posts I've seen I'd say he's the most conservative dresser at the Armory.

Such a pleasure seeing well dressed people everywhere! This is one of my favourite shots so far from Tokyo:

On the second floor of a tour bus. This scene just caught my eye and I had to take the shot.

I really like Shantung.

Thought it might be Vanda. Totally agreed about shantung, such character.

My three favourite ties are my Drakes maroon with yellow, black and green stripes shantung, my Drakes light grey cashmere and my brown Henry Carter grenadine.

haha fox, good call. :p

Glad to hear the trip is going well GN.

Sounds like I'm younger than fxh and im not a fan of the jackets for workwear either foxy.  Like the others said think it looks good casually but car coat or double breasted overcoat for workwear can't be beat.

PS, Drakes maroon with yellow Shantung? I think we may have the same tie! OMG, fanboying out right now..

If I recall correctly yours was a gift for your girlfriend but you struggled wear it a little, which was a bit awkward.

Fanboying out. Haha, you should see the jealous in some of the guys I know doing movember when I point out your picture as an example of how it should be done.

Speak of which, I still need to donate (and I am sure some others will too). Time for a reminder on that link TBM.

Sweet jacket, Romp! Wear in good health.

Can anyone ID the HK tailor that has done these jackets? I grabbed these off the Merino Brothers facebook page, and my basic understanding is that they are a HK distributor for Harrisons, H Lesser, etc.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Unrelated side note - watched Prisoners on the laptop today. That movie gave me the heebie jeebies. Great acting by JG. Okay from HJ.

I have doubts that these jackets are made by the same tailor
