Bad luck pink; though hearing that there is no chance in hell it would fit me :P

I remember someone asking about white denim (Gerry?); found this today:

http://www.superdenim.com/prodpage.asp?productid=3081

LVC 518's down from 100+ pound to 50 pounds but with 25 pounds shipping still pretty darn expensive.

EDIT: Superdenim has some awesome casual/workwear pieces; Inis Meain and Real McCoy's to name a few. But darn expensive!

Funny that. I've got the Drizabone version of that jacket and it's great - a little large for me but I can easily wear a chunky jumper underneath with no problem or even wear it over a sportscoat.

Gerry, someone stuck mirrors on your boots.

PS, you reckon that jacket you're selling would fit me?

Hey, members. WRT the weekend: big night drinking Friday with some work colleagues (ie. ENT blokes), doing some study (not enough), watching some old movies (Roman Holiday - AH is such a hottie), listening to Glenn Miller, enjoying the SBS series "Masters of Sex" about Masters and Johnston, friend's birthday dinner at a Sichuan joint. Also joining the no-purchase club for the next little while so will have to live vicariously through everyone else's purchases. The Carminas look great, btw.

Will share a fuzzy fit-pic from the weekend conference in Hobart (from my IG account, so sorry to those who have already seen it). There was some crazy drinking throughout and some pretty hot lady reps from Alcon and other companies to chat to. Effing awesome new phaco machine from Alcon called "Centurion" with amazing designed look and specs.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Boggi jacket, Liverano jeans, Vanda unlined shantung, PJ denim, Tasmanian strawberries.

One of my MONA favourites - Berlin Buddha

The ferry.

hey mate would you consider some gunmetal cuff links? I find they are a bit different to what most people have, and the lower sheen possibly makes them friendlier with a few more shirts

I like 2 types. Knots - these ones are from mulberry

The ones I have are like this

Even just in silver, I think this design is quite versatile

Hey Jas, have you found that hanging your knit ties ends up stretching them out over time?

Dude, you've got to do at least a modicum of research before posting these things ...

Did you look at the eBay ad linked in the blog post, Jimmy?

The ad states in the title - "Vintage Belstaff Waxed Cotton Trialmaster / Roadmaster jacket - approx Medium"

In the description:

Settle down, Gerry.

I don't have a tumblr, I don't use tumblr.

I spent a good five minutes going through the entry. I even spent 10 minutes searching through Ebay and only got listings from the U.K.

I did not realise that the white, 'Belstaff Waxed Cotton Jacket' was a link.

I apologise.

It's not about having tumblr or using tumblr, it's about clicking the link provided in the post that Pink Socks provided.

A search on ebay with 'Belstaff Waxed Cotton Jacket' brings it up as the first link, btw.

I did click the link provided. There is a heap of pictures and small inconspicuous white text at the bottom directing to an Ebay listing.

It turns out that Ebay listing is on the .com.au site, where as I always use the .com Ebay site.

Geez Louise!

Is not having a Tumblr the new "I have a tumblr"?

I don't even know what a tumblr is. I do have a tumble dryer.

In fact I have two tumble dryers. But actually I'm here to talk about my new book.

Nope, not for knits or regular ties. You've got a much higher chance of them stretching from tugging on them when doing them up, especially for un-tipped ties or stretchy fabrics like grenadines.
