Thanks guys I think you are right. Alcudia last actually.
These are the shoes (not my picture):

I really like them. They don't have any in the next size up unfortunately, otherwise I'd buy a replacement.
I will eventually get around to getting up an ebay/B+S listing for them, but if anyone here wants them I'd rather sell them locally for less hassle.
Worn once outside for about 9 hours. Show the signs of wear you'd expect after wearing for 9 hours: Minimal creasing on the upper, creasing on the strap, scuffed sole.
Size 8UK (my normal size, but I should have gone 8.5). Box and shoe bag.
Any offer considered, I have no idea what they are worth now, but they were 325 euro new.
Nice tie.A good list there, PS.
Even though Ethan is now in HK, I really like his "Rugged Old Salt" Tumblr blog as he clearly takes great care in his photographic compositions and has a good eye as well as technical skill. He also has some good, philosophical posts on clothing and life from time to time, too. I particularly like the fact that Ethan's posts are of his own making. There's nothing particularly wrong with re-posting content from elsewhere, but it can get a bit tiring to see the same things posted over and over again such as mid-century modern furniture, girls on bikes, girls with glasses, girls with glasses on bikes and so on!
To change the topic, I've taken advantage of the cooler weather and am wearing another double breasted suit today.
Details:
- RL Signature (made-in-USA precursor to RL Purple Label) DB suit in PoW check with light blue overcheck;
- Deer Style shirt in sky blue, end-on-end weave with wide spread collar;
- Marinella tie;
- Kent Wang white, linen pocket square; and
- C&J Audley shoes.

Nice tie.
For the shoe, have you tried using a mahogany color polish on it? Maybe alternate with a navy blue wax polish. The effect under sunlight is quite pleasing.
Mannina Firenze - by far my favourite shoes (probably because i met the guy who made my pair)What would you gents recommend for a semi brogue shoe in tan?
Key details are:
Venue: Crown Southbank
Start time: 6.30pm Drinks for 7pm Start
Dress code is Smart Business
Only if you like stylish and well-written content - pretty crap for girls wearing spectacles on bicycles wearing double monks without socks, though.

Where - exactly - are your shoes tight/hurting? Often it can be a seam that initially rubs - these almost always soften and resolve. Does it feel like its on the seam? If its a seam then soak the seam on the inside with conditioner.
I don't want to talk down to you - but - are you used to having and wearing in new leather shoes? Is the buckle bit attached with elastic or fixed?
If its the area above - you won't get much stretch, if any, out of the area circled in No1. Thats because its essentially a double layer and stitched in place at this point.
Have you tried the thinnest socks you have? (please don't try them with no socks) Try the slippery-est socks you have - a thin silk will allow the shoe to slip rather than catch and can make a huge difference.
Usually people with high feet/arches find that monks and open laced shoes are the best - sometimes only - choice.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to advise.
Unfortunately, it is area 1 (above) where it is tight: across the top of the metatarsophalangeal joints. The width at the widest part of my foot and up the sides is perfect.
I have had dress shoes before, but have never worn monks before, so I was hoping that maybe this was a feature of monks that subsides after a few wears (as one cannot adjust the tightness over the dorsum of the foot like one can with laces)
I remember being told by a podiatrist 10 years ago that I had flat feet, and needed to buy orthotics from him. So much for that!
What is a fair price for shoes that have been worn once like this?
